- Representation of a large public hospital district in Texas in various matters including the potential purchase of a new hospital, the proposed sale of its captive HMO and various health law matters.
- Numerous public finance projects representing the issuer, underwriter and bond trustee.
- Preparation of tax exemption applications and certifications.
- Represent health care system in formulating joint-venture policy and structuring of hospital-physician joint ventures.
- Representation of a Texas-based company in its negotiation, structure and formation of physician joint ventured specialty clinics across the country including handling all health care regulatory matters arising from such joint ventures.
- Assist client with implementation of Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 training and related compliance measures.
- Represent health care system in connection with state and federal inquiries concerning charitable tax exemptions.
